The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) platform is expected to open for the submission of income tax returns in March 2026, with a significant amount of data already pre-filled for taxpayers, particularly for employees, pensioners, and individuals receiving income from banks, employers and public entities. Therefore, the pre-completed amounts in the income tax return should be carefully reviewed prior to final submission.

The filing period lasts from March 15^th to July 15^{th, 2026}. If the total tax due is paid in full by the due date of the first installment, a discount is granted as follows:

• 4% if the return is submitted by April 30^th, 2026,
• 3% if submitted by June 15^th, 2026, and
• 2% if submitted by July 15^th, 2026.
