The program starts on October 1^st, 2020 and is valid until the subsidized job positions are covered.

Employment contracts will have a six-month’ duration and are applicable to all businesses. Submission of application to ERGANI System is required, under specific terms and conditions.

Specifically the program foresees the following:

1. Covering of all employee and employer social security contributions, regardless of the net monthly salary amount, as well as the corresponding social security contributions on Xmas/Easter/Holiday bonuses for a period of six months.
2. If the new hire concerns a long-term unemployed individual, then it is further subsidized by another two hundred euros on the net monthly salary.
3. After the end of six months the employee may continue to work if both parties agree. In this case, the employee is then fully paid by the employer.
4. Employees who are hired under the program cannot participate to the “SYN-ERGASIA” program.

Employment contracts cannot be suspended under this program.
