The income earned from short-term lease of a property in the context of the sharing economy is considered to be income from real estate source and is taxed as such. This revenue is not subject to VAT.
When an administrator of such property stops its management, it can immediately eliminate this property from the TAXISnet Registry. The time limit begins after the end of the last lease and expires on the date on which the income tax return for the relevant tax year begins to be submitted.
Short-term residence reports are due for submission by the 20th of the month following the day the lessee depart from the property. No report submission obligation exists when there was no rental in the previous month.
