The decision of the Minister of Finance concerning the amendment of the relevant ministerial decision for the registration of the data in the Central Register of Beneficial Owners was published in the Government Gazette (B’ 3804/21.07.2022).

The amendment extends the time limits within which the liable legal persons and legal entities must register the details of their beneficial owners in the electronic system. At the same time, it is clarified that all registrations that have been finalized to date as well as those that are finalized by 31.10.2022 are considered to have been filed on time.

After the deadline of 31.10.2022 has passed, the process for the full productive operation of the access will proceed, as well as the activation of the control mechanism.
